1Tim.4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;
that thy profiting may appear to ALL.
What is Meditation?
Meditation means “the act of focusing one’s thoughts: to ponder, think on, muse. Meditation consists of reflective thinking or contemplation, usually on a specific
subject to discern its meaning or significance or a plan of action.
What is Biblical Meditation?
Biblical meditation is object oriented. It begins with reflective reading and rereading of the Word and is followed by reflection on what has been read and committed to memory. In Scripture, the word meditate is generally found with an object (God, His Word, or works, etc.) or in a context where the object of meditation is understood.
In Scripture it does not mean to sit and ponder infinity or to empty the mind so some force can fill it by repeating some chant or mantra. Such is dangerous and opens the mind to demonic attack. Meditation in the Bible means reflective thinking on biblical truth so that God is able to speak to us through Scripture and through the thoughts that come to mind as we are reflecting on the Word, but that must also be filtered by the Word.

Why MEDITATION works:
Meditation strength and develops our ALPHA BRAIN WAVES STATE. Which lets the Holy Spirit flow from our SUBCONSCIOUS (human spirits) into our CONSCIOUS minds (soul: intellect, emotions & will). Writing upon our hearts revelation, unction, rhema, and faith.
"...written Not with INK but with the Spirit of the Living God Not in tablets of stone
but on tablets of the heart (soul)"
IICor.3:3
FOUR WAVE STATES OF THE MIND
1. Beta state: most of our waking hours. The brain radiates Bata waves at 13 cycles
per second. Beta frequencies (above 12 Hertz) coincide with our analytical thinking.
2. Alpha State: Meditative state, Most people are in an alpha state during the short time immediately before they fall asleep or after they awake. Brain wave cycles are 8 & 13 cycles per seconds. The door between the conscious and the subconscious mind is open, and it becomes easier to access the memories & to storage new information.
3. Theta State: Dream & trance state. Brain wave between 4 & 8 cycles per second. When Artist, Scientist or Ministers have the "aha" (RHEMA MOMENT) experience, of insight, & revelation there's a good chance he or she is in theta state.
4. Delta State: Deep sleep total unconsciousness or Rim Sleep.
